At Rehab Services we provide: physical therapy, speech therapy, concussion rehab, vestibular rehab, as well as sports performance and return to play programs. Meet the Staff:
Dr. Saurabh Patel, PT, DPT, Cert Vest.
Saurabh received his Doctoral degree in physical therapy from Mercy College in 2012. Currently has over 8 years of experience primary in an outpatient setting. Saurabh has completed the rigorous Competency Certification Program in Vestibular Rehabilitation from The American Institute of Balance and Dry needling certification program and is the lead therapists at R S Physical Therapy and Cumberland Rehabilitation. His clinical practice focuses on vestibular rehabilitation, balance, dizziness, falls prevention, along with dry needling for a variety of orthopedic clinical practices. He combines an diversified clinical approach with academic experience in applying evidence based principles to the examination and management of vestibular and orthopedic dysfunction. He continues teach and educate while remaining an invaluable resource to his community.
Jennifer Slavo, Physical Therapist Assistant
Jennifer aka “Jenn” started her Physical Therapy career as a Physical Therapy Technician in Valparaiso, IN as of 2017. She quickly fell in love with the process of encouraging others and helping them reach their goals. What sets her apart from others at work is the level of compassion she has for her patients, and her jokes. Jenn loves being a wife and mother while spending time with her family. She also loves watching college football and enjoys running. Jenn completed her associates degree at Fox College in Tinley Park, IL.
Virginia Rocke, Physical Therapist Assistant
Virginia completed her associates degree at Baker College in 2022. She has a passion for therapy and helping others. She has had experience in several outpatient clinics as well as a small hospital. Virginia enjoys watching patients progress throughout their time at therapy. She loves being outside, reading, and spending time with her pets.
Dr. Duncan Brownault, PT, DPT
Duncan received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Angelo State University in West Texas in 2021. He and his wife then worked as traveling PT’s until settling in Northwest Indiana. His clinical experience ranges from working with medically fragile patients in home health in Kentucky and North Carolina to division I basketball players in Southern California and everything in between. He enjoys hiking and relaxing with his wife and two cats as well as playing recreational Ultimate Frisbee and training in powerlifting and Olympic lifting.
Dr Karen Brownault, PT, DPT.
Karen received her Doctoral degree in physical therapy from Angelo State University in 2021. A native of northwest Indiana, Karen and her husband have spent nearly three years working as traveling physical therapists around the country working with a wide variety of patient populations. Karen’s clinical practice has included post-operative management and chronic injuries for all areas of the musculoskeletal system, as well as balance deficits and post-stroke rehabilitation. She is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for all individuals and will work tirelessly to help her patients reach their goals. In her free time, Karen enjoys running, hiking, doing crafts, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
Darci Campbell, PTA
Darci is a mother of four and a 2023 graduate from the physical therapist assistant program at Ivy Tech State College, Crown Point. She was born in Omaha, Nebraska but spent the majority of her school aged years in Valparaiso, Indiana. Darci’s love for physical therapy came from years of being a dancer and receiving physical therapy through multiple injuries and surgeries. Her inspiration came from all of the therapists that crossed her path over the years. She was a dance major at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA and Marymount Manhattan College in NY,NY in the late nineties through early 2000s. Darci also has a background in Pilates and ZUMBA instruction and is no stranger to the fascinating ways in which the body moves! She is excited to be on staff at RS Physical Therapy and to work with the many patients that come through the doors.
